The Rickhouse, Durham | Industrial Wedding Venue | Winter Wedding
Ya’ll, this blog post is jam-PACKED with some good, wholesome content. You ready? *to the tune of “bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child* ‘Cause I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly! Allison and Keenan’s wedding was one to remember, Keenan’s family are all musicians so it was a night full of live music and swing dancing! Allison and Keenan actually met at swing dancing class which is why there were so many people there doing it. It was so much fun to watch, most weddings I go to don’t have a whole ton of dancing but this one definitely did! By the end of the night, Keenan had performed several different instruments and sang a song he specifically wrote for Allison. And to answer your question, yes, everyone was swooning over the entire exchange. It was a really sweet moment. Plus, this wedding had one of my favorite versions of my least favorite wedding tradition, the garter toss. Keenan and Allison decided to switch things up a little and had Keenan wear his own special garter to toss ;). Everyone had a good laugh over it. Like I said before, this wedding was definitely one I am going to remember for a long time!
